This cards is one of the cards that is not easy to read, even with clairification with a another drawn card. Six of pentacles represent how fair we are in our relations, and reminds us to the law of give and take: “ without expectation, give what you truly want out into the world, only then, will you get what is meant for you”. Do we always give without expectation and even not from the ego? Do we love because they need love or maybe we are the one who need love. As I said you can not receive love if you are not giving it to others. Actually this card ask for our attention to look to our self, our inner balans. Are we also fair enough to ourselves.
What if we connect the two persons down who are begging with our ethical state. One man represents the light side and the other man the shadow side of the human being. Look to the card his scale is apparently in balans but he has only in one hand the pentacles. The card is called six of pentacles because you give each man three pentacles. But did you count the pentacles in his hand, its seven, where is the balans. It’s like choosing your way to stay grounded in the Chariot card, but this time we do not speak about our goals in life. This is about your personal development as human being, as father or mother or maybe as a friend of someone. This card is telling us delicately about a test that will take place, what is really best for youre highest good?. To follow our heartdesires and gave equally love and time and all the effort and as consequences waiting in the hope of receiving something in return or to let our ego take the upper hand and giving with purpose.
When this card is drawn for a specific question for example in love related situations. Then there is a need to ask yourself do I really want this person in my life or what if I continu this relationship? Maybe you will treat this person careless from your ego side because you need love in your life. And perhaps you really do not care from where or from who is this love coming. This way of thinking is not the best that is for sure.
Yes, this situation is real and tangable (because of the materialistic character of the pentacles suit), but is it also fair and equal give and take?. Like any minor card with the number six from Tarot suit (swords, cups and wands) it seems to be that there is a need for harmony but the questioner has to find that specific point of need and not to mask them true emotions. Here are the questions; “need to go further or stay (swords), need to remember or forget (cups), need to show my self or wait (wands), need to change behavior or stabilize it?”.
