Heart in design
Today I went to a local bookstore, to find out what is new or if there’s interesting books on sale. And guess what, I found a very delicately created book about interior design, a lot of great photographs and inspirations for anyone that loves art and decoration. Also I loved the life story of the book and company owner. So again thanks for this beautiful book to have in my own personal library and I decided to create a brand logo in this case for a fictive company in architecture and interior design.


What is Busycon?
You see in the logo a large shell. Busycon is a sea snail (the Whelk) and this kind of a great and big shells are lovely and cozy homes for these animals. I love the form of this shell the letter B goes very well with the wavy side. Because the shell is called literally “House” a house of the snail in the literature, I found the idea to use the shell as main logo very fitting. By the way the water stands for our emotions and the best place to discover and unravel the secrets of our hearts is at home. Wherever that home may be to you, we as humans look at first side for the colors and quality richness of decoration because that ìs the language of our emotions.
